Sheffield Wednesday has released their retained player list for the upcoming 2023/24 season following the conclusion of the 2022/23 campaign.
The club has announced that seven players - Dennis Adeniran, Jaden Brown, Sam Durrant, Ryan Galvin, Ben Heneghan, Jack Hunt, and David Stockdale - will be released upon the expiry of their current contracts.
At the same time, Sheffield Wednesday has exercised their options to extend the contracts of six players - Barry Bannan, George Byers, Lee Gregory, Dominic Iorfa, Liam Palmer, and Josh Windass.
The Owls have also made new contract offers to three players, namely Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Marvin Johnson, and Callum Paterson. The club is now waiting for their decisions.
The end of the season also marks the departure of Aden Flint and Reece James, who will leave Hillsborough as their loan periods have concluded.
