League Preview: Wexford -v- Cobh Ramblers
WEXFORD
James Keddy’s Wexford host Cobh Ramblers at Ferrycarrig Park on Friday night in a vital First Division clash (kick-off is at 7.45pm).
The Slaneysiders come into the game on a rare high having seen off basement side Kerry at Mounthawk Park last week.
Aaron Dobbs scored four for Wexford in their 6-0 win, with club stalwart Danny Furlong also getting in on the act.
However, since then the club have confirmed that they have parted ways with striker Jordan Adeyemo.
Adeyemo’s exit follows the long-term injuries sustained by trio Aaron Robinson, Evan Farrell and Thomas Considine.
COBH RAMBLERS
Fourth-placed Cobh Ramblers know that a win against Wexford would go a long way to copper-fastening their place in the play-offs.
Shane Keegan’s men however are three games without a win but there are shoots of positivity following their 2-2 draw with Bray Wanderers last weekend.
And in their last game against Wexford earlier this season, the Rams claimed a 2-1 home win against their First Division rivals.
However, they have been blighted by the recent injury struggles of Jack Doherty, Pierce Phillips and Issa Kargbo.
Referee: Mark Patchell.
