Sean Maguire leaves Coventry City with St Pat’s loan defender Jay McGrath
Former Cork City forward Sean Maguire will leave Coventry City upon the expiry of his current deal with the Sky Blues in June.
Maguire, 29, joined Coventry during the January transfer window but failed to make a significant impact for Mark Robins’ side.
He played seven times for the club during his brief stint there.
And he departs the Sky Blues alongside former St Patrick’s Athletic defender Luke McNally who will return to his parent club Burnley after his loan.
Meanwhile, St Pat’s defender Jay McGrath has also been released by Coventry after the club opted not to extend his deal.
And he has been let go alongside former Cork City youngster Ricardo Dinanga.
“I would like to thank those who are leaving for their time with us, the contributions that they have made to Coventry City, and wish them all of the best for their future careers,” boss Robins said.
We can confirm the players who will be leaving the Sky Blues following the conclusion of the 2022/23 season.#PUSB
