Suspension List: Cork City’s Ally Gilchrist handed three-game ban after dismissal against Bohemians
Cork City defender Ally Gilchrist has been issued with a three-match ban after being sent off against Bohemians on Monday.
Gilchrist was given his marching orders by referee Adriano Reale after an incident with Bohs striker Jonathan Afolabi.
Bohs scored from the resulting free-kick through Jordan Flores as the game ended 5-0 to Declan Devine’s side.
He is also joined on the suspension list by City teammate Aaron Bolger who will serve a one-game ban for accumulation of yellow cards.
Elsewhere, St Patrick’s Athletic striker Eoin Doyle will serve a two-match ban after his red card against Sligo Rovers on Monday.
Meanwhile, Shelbourne wing-back Shane Farrell will serve the last of his three-game ban against UCD following an off-the-ball incident against Dundalk a fortnight ago.
In the Women’s Premier Division, Shelbourne boss Noel King will serve a further two-match ban.
And in the League of Ireland First Division, Bray Wanderers full-back Max Murphy has been handed an additional two-match ban after his dismissal against Waterford last week.
Seagulls defender Cole Omorehiomwan will also miss their trip to Ferrycarrig Park following his sending off late on against Treaty United with a second bookable offence.
Galway United assistant Ollie Horgan will serve a one-game ban due to an accumulation of yellow cards – while Kerry coach Conor McCarthy will serve a three-game touchline ban.
