Former Bray Wanderers starlet Andrew Moran pens long-term contract with Brighton
Former Bray Wanderers teenager Andrew Moran has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract extension with Premier League side Brighton.
Moran, 19, played for St Joseph’s and Knocklyon United as a schoolboy before making his senior debut for Bray during the 2019 League of Ireland season aged just 15.
He is also the Seagulls youngest goalscorer at 16 years and 135 days old.
But since then he joined Brighton and has impressed through the ranks with the Premier League high-flyers.
The Dubliner has also played for Ireland at every age group up to under-21.
And Brighton’s technical director David Weir said: “Andrew has progressed really well through the academy and has impressed Roberto as part of our first-team squad this season.
“He has worked really hard to earn this new contract and now his challenge is to break through into the team.”
Moran has netted seven goals and grabbed six assists in 17 Premier League 2 games so far this season.
We're pleased to confirm that Andrew Moran has signed a new contract that runs until June 2027.
