Alan Reynolds departs Derry City to become Waterford assistant manager
Former Waterford boss Alan Reynolds has returned to the RSC to become Keith Long’s assistant at the club.
Reynolds was most recently working with Derry City under the stewardship of Ruaidhri Higgins at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.
But citing personal reasons, Reynolds has returned to the South-East just a few years after leaving the club in 2020 when he was last in charge.
“I’m delighted Alan has joined the club,” Waterford chief Long said.
“He’s a coach with fantastic experience from playing and management and will be a big asset to the club.
“He’s a local guy and it’s brilliant that we can bring him back to his local club to help us achieve our goals this season.”
