Blues boss eager to win over fans

Limerick manager Pat Scully knows it won't be an easy task to lure new supporters to his team's home games this season, although it is a challenge that he is relishing.
The Blues kick-started their campaign with a 1-1 draw away to Mervue United, although they will be hoping for a slightly better result when they take on Derry City at home on Friday.
Derry might be one of the favourites to win the First Division this season, but Limerick know that they have to pick up as many points from their home fixtures if they are to have a successful year.
Not only does Scully want to turn Jackman Park into a fortress, he is eager for it to become a venue that locals flock to on a Friday evening to support the club, but he accepts that it won't be easy to bring them in.
"I think that's up to us really, it's up to us to entice supporters to games," Scully told the Limerick Leader.
"Limerick people have a winning mentality and they don't like to attach themselves to mediocrity.
"If we win games I know Limerick people will come out to support us and play a big part in what we are trying to achieve."
