Aaron O’Driscoll joins Christchurch United after leaving Shelbourne
Former Shelbourne central defender Aaron O’Driscoll has completed a move to New Zealand outfit Christchurch United.
O’Driscoll is a former Ireland underage international and was previously on the books of Manchester City and Southampton when in the UK.
He then joined after his stint with Southampton before returning home to ply his trade in the League of Ireland.
His first stint back home saw him join Longford Town on loan from Mansfield Town before he made the move to Shelbourne at the end of 2021.
While at Tolka Park, the Dubliner made 19 league appearances under boss Damien Duff before leaving at the end of the 2022 campaign.
He since moved to New Zealand earlier this year and has now put pen to paper on a deal with Christchurch United.
Christchurch United are a largely semi-pro outfit but have had decorated New Zealand international Ryan Nelson on their books before.
We have signed a highly experienced & talented new player to our team!
