Shamrock Rovers are running a special promotion for their game against St Pat's next Sunday evening.
The first one thousand Rovers fans through the turnstiles will each receive a special edition "Proud to be a Hoop" scarf.
In recent times Rovers have been proactive in raising the profile of the club and bringing in extra revenue.
Earlier in the season, they linked up with Urney Chocolates to produce a specially designed Shamrock Rovers Easter Egg. The eggs were competitively priced and came with a voucher for free admission for an Under 16 to a Rovers home game at Tolka Park.
Last October, when thousands of German football fans visited Dublin for their European Championship qualifier in Croke Park, Rovers came up with the novel idea of targeting these football tourists and made sure they were aware that there was a big league game at Tolka Park against league leaders Drogheda taking place the night before.
Shamrock Rovers vs St Pats takes place next Sunday, April 27th at Tolka Park. Kick off is 7pm.
