Kerry add Rob Vasiu to their ranks ahead of new season
Kerry FC have announced the signing of Rob Vasiu ahead of the 2023 League of Ireland First Division season.
The 19 year old will make the step up from Kerry’s Academy as the Munster club get ready for their inaugural season in the League of Ireland.
“It’s a great honour to sign with the senior squad, getting the opportunity to represent Kerry in the League of Ireland is a dream I’ve had from a young age,” Vasiu said, speaking to the club’s media team.
“I can’t wait to make the most of it and I’m looking forward to the season getting underway next weekend.”
Vasiu joined Kerry six years ago and progressed through the club’s academy playing for their under 15, 17 and 19 League of Ireland teams.
The Kingdom begin their season with a Munster Derby against Cobh Ramblers on Friday, 17 February.
