Galway United secure services of experienced striker McKey ahead of new season

Galway Untied have announced the signing of Lynsey McKey ahead of the Women’s Premier Division season.

Manager Phil Trill has managed to secure a huge amount of experience in McKey with the 32 year old involved in the League since its inception.

The striker spent two seasons with Cork City before moving to Galway WFC in 2013 where she would remain until the end of last season.

The Clare native has made over 150 appearances in all competitions in her career and scored over eighty goals.

Galway United begin their campaign at home to Wexford Youths on Saturday, 4 March.
