Kerry announce signing of Croatian striker Trpimir Vrljicak
Kerry FC have announced the signing of Trpimir Vrljicak ahead of their inaugural League of Ireland season.
The Croatian national signs for Kerry from Killarney Celtic where he has been playing since moving to Ireland from the Czech Republic.
“To be honest, this is a new beginning for me, I really like Kerry,” the striker said, speaking to the club’s website.
“This is a great opportunity for my teammates and I to take a step forward in our careers, we are a young team with an excellent coach and his assistants who can help us a lot and show us many things.
“The only thing I want to say to the fans is that I will always give 150% of myself on the field and that I am hungry for victories and goals.”
Kerry begin their First Division campaign with a Munster Derby at home in Mounthawk on Friday, 17 February (kick-off 7.45pm).
