Galway United announce signing of Kate Thompson

Galway United have announced the signing of Republic of Ireland under 19 international Kate Thompson ahead of the 2023 Women’s Premier Division season.

The midfielder joins United having started her career with Galway WFC where she made 23 appearances in her debut season at senior level in 2022.

Thompson scored one goal which came in a 6-0 win for Galway in August of last year.

The Tribeswomen begin their campaign when they host Wexford Youths on Saturday, 4 March.
