Matt Healy returns to Cork City on loan

Cork City have announced the return of Matt Healy on loan from Ipswich Town ahead of their return to the League of Ireland Premier Division.

The Rebels will have the services of Healy until the end of June.

“I’m very pleased to be back at City again,” Healy said, speaking to the club’s website.

“I really enjoyed last season, it was great experience for me and I learned a lot.

“It was great to be able to be a part of what was a very memorable season for the club; these are exciting times now for the club, going back into the Premier Division, and I am delighted to be part of it again.”

The midfielder scored four times in 26 appearances for Cork City last season as the Rebels won the First Division to secure their return to the Premier Division.
