Chloe Hennigan signs for Treaty United

Treaty United have signed former Athlone Town and CK United player, Chloe Hennigan for the 2023 Women’s Premier Division season.

Hennigan was part of the Athlone Town Women’s side in the later part of the 2022 season and was a former CK United Under 19 player.

Hennigan also previously played with the Tottenham Hotspur Academy and is currently completing the FAI Sports Management course.

New manager of the Treaty United Senior Women’s Team, Alban Hysa, has been building his team over the last few weeks with a flurry of re-signings and new signings.

“We’re delighted to have Chloe involved with the squad this year. She’s been unlucky with injury’s the last few years but has been impressive the last 2 seasons in the underage league,” Hysa said, speaking to extratime.com.

“She’s also a UEFA B Licence coach so we’re excited to have a player with her knowledge of the game on board this season.”

Hysa has continued building his side in anticipation of the start of the 2023 Women’s Premier Division season where Treaty United will welcome Bohemians to the Markets Field on Saturday, 4 March (kick-off 5pm).
