Treaty United announce signing of Ireland international Ciara McCormack
Treaty United have announced the signing of former Republic of Ireland international Ciara McCormack ahead of the 2023 Women’s Premier Division season.
The defender made eight appearances for the national team between 2008 and 2010 and has played professionally in the USA, Canada, Denmark, Norway and Australia.
“We are delighted to have Ciara in our team. Ciara brings a wealth of experience and leadership which will be invaluable to our young squad this year,” manager Alban Hysa said, speaking to the club’s media team.
Treaty also annoucnd the re-signing of Rosie Young ahead of the new season. The Clare native had been a member of the Limerick club’s squad during their first season in the Women’s National League before departing to play college soccer in the USA.
She returned to make five appearances towards the end of last season and signs for the 2023 season.
