Cork City sign Tunde Owolabi
Cork City’s manager Colin Healy has announced his first new signing ahead of the 2023 season – signing Tunde Owolabi.
City had a successful season last year in which they won the First Division title and promotion back to the Premier Division.
And they have now added 27-year-old Owolabi to their ranks.
The forward spent the last two seasons with Finn Harps and then with St. Patrick’s Athletic.
He scored five goals with the Inchicore outfit last year.
The Striker gave his thoughts after joining City: “I am really happy to be joining Cork City. They had a very impressive season last year, winning the First Division, and there is a really positive feeling around the club at the moment.
“The crowds the clubs were getting last season were really impressive and I look forward to playing at Turners Cross”
Healy added: “We are very pleased to have Tunde on board. He will be a handful for any defence.
“It is great to have him signed up and looking forward to working with him.”
