James Keddy appointed as new Wexford boss
Having recently lost manager Ian Ryan to Bray Wanderers, Wexford have wasted no time in appointing his successor.
They revealed that former assistant to Gary Cronin at Longford Town, James Keddy, will be the man to take the reins at Ferrycarrig Park.
Keddy had a successful playing career in the League of Ireland, starting out at Home Farm before winning the First Division title with UCD in 1995.
He then won the Premier Division with Derry City before joining Shelbourne where he was part of their League & Cup double winning team of 1999/00.
Reddy went on to claim a third title while playing under Paul Doolin at Drogheda United in 2007 and also won a second FAI Cup while at Dundalk in 2002.
Since retiring at the end of 2008 Keddy has served as an assistant manager to Gary Cronin at both Bray Wanderers and Longford Town.
