Bristol City’s Mark Sykes called up to Ireland squad as Haaland not included for Norway
Stephen Kenny has call up Bristol City winger Mark Sykes for the upcoming Republic of Ireland friendlies against Norway in the Aviva and away to Malta.
The Ireland boss makes that call up after Wigan Athletic forward Will Keane and Birmingham City striker Scott Hogan have withdrawn from the squad due to injury.
First up in their friendly fixtures is Norway’s visit to Dublin next Thursday 17 November. Manchester City’s Erling Haaland will not be part of the travelling Norwegian party.
