Harps confirm re-signing of Minnock
Jonathan Minnock has committed to Finn Harps for another year after he agreed terms on a new deal with the First Division club.
Having played over 400 games for the Donegal-based side, Minnock is a popular player amongst the club's supporters and his signing will surely be viewed as a huge plus.
Harps manager James Gallagher has already brought striker Kevin McHugh back to Finn Park, so the addition of Minnock adds more experience to his squad.
During his two spells away from the club, the tough-tackling defender picked up a League winners' medal in 2002 with Shelbourne, while last year he played senior football in the Ulster Senior League with Kildrum Tigers.
Now he will be hoping to reignite his League of Ireland with the club that has shown great loyalty to him and where he is a crowd favourite. His signing is a huge boost for Harps.
