Ndo unlikley to return to Dalymount
Bohemians boss Pat Fenlon has confirmed that midfielder Joseph Ndo has opted to try his luck outside of the League of Ireland after six years in the league.
The Cameroon ace expressed a desire to Fenlon of playing at a higher level. However, it does still seem a bit uncertain just when and where he will be going.
Ndo was a key player for The Gypsies in their back-to-back title wins over the past two seasons, while also helping Shelbourne to collect two league trophies. But he has decided to move on as he attempts to reignite his international career.
"I spoke to Joseph recently, and he's still a little bit up in the air about what he wants to do at the moment. I think he still wants to get out and play at a higher level," said Fenlon.
"I think he feels if he plays at a higher level that he might get a chance to get back in the Cameroon squad. You know, that's where he's looking at, I can understand that.
"I offered Joseph a contract at the end of the season, and he wanted to stay with us if he was to stay in Ireland, but I think he wanted to see if he could give it a try somewhere else.
"I get on well with Joseph, I speak to him on a regular basis, so hopefully something will work out for him in the near future, but I don't think it will happen with us to be honest. You never know in football I suppose, it may not, but at the moment, I think Joseph is looking to move outside of the country."
