Max Hemmings signs for Galway United

Galway United have announced the signing of Max Hemmings ahead of the start of their First Division campaign.

The English born midfielder joins the club from American USL League One side Greenville Triumph where he spent three seasons – he was also a teammate of former Galway United striker Jake Keegan while playing for the South Carolina team.

Hemmings also spent four years playing college soccer with the Georgia State Panthers and scored 19 goals across 72 appearances between 2015 and 2018.

The midfielder is a late addition to the Tribesmen as they prepare for their first game of the season against Cork City in Turners Cross on Friday (kick-off 7.45pm).
