Bohs sign Ireland youth international Rachael Kelly

Bohemians have announced the signing of Republic of Ireland under 19 international Rachael Kelly ahead of the 2021 Women’s National League season.

The goalkeeper returns to the WNL after a year spent in Sweden, where she helped P18 IK to promotion to the top division of the Eastern Svealand league.

Kelly began her career with Shelbourne in 2019 and helped the Reds to two second place finishes in the WNL in both the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

She also earned the WNL Golden Glove award for having the most clean sheets of any goalkeeper in the league during the 2020 season.

Bohemians begin their campaign away to Kelly’s previous club Shelbourne on Saturday, 5 March.
