Wexford welcome Conor Barry to Ferrycarrig Park
Wexford have added to their attacking ranks with the signing of 26-year-old former Galway United man Conor Barry.
The Portumna native represented the Irish Schoolboys in the 2012/13 season before earning a call up to the Irish Colleges and Universities squad in 2018 - the same season he netted 10 goals in 20 league games for the Tribesmen.
He began his League of Ireland career with Salthill Devon's Under 19s in 2012/13 before debuting for their senior team the following season.
Barry signed for Galway United midway through their promotion winning season of 2014 before also spending the next season there. 2016 saw his first spell at Athlone Town last two seasons before a return to Eamon Deacey Park in 2018.
After three seasons and 16 league goals for Galway United, Barry re-united with Ollie Horgan at Finn Harps, with whom he had previously worked with at Irish Schoolboys level.
He spent the first half of 2021 at Finn Park before signing on loan for Athlone Town at the end of July.
