Conor Kearns re-signs with Galway United
Galway United have announced their first signing of the offseason with goalkeeper Conor Kearns committing to the Tribesmen for the 2022 season.
Kearns was Galway United’s first choice goalkeeper last season and only missed out on a couple of games due to suspension with Like Dennison deputising for the Dubliner on those occasions.
The goalkeeper was part of a strong defence at Eamonn Deacy Park that went five games in a row without conceding a goal midway through the season.
“I’m delighted to get this over the line, there is no doubt in my mind that I wanted to be a Galway United player come next season, I signed to be part of a project and I definitely felt like we’re moving in the right direction,” Kearns said, speaking to the club’s media team.
