Sligo Rovers sign Davoren
Sligo Rovers today announced the signing of Iarflaith Davoren from Galway United for the upcoming 2010 season.
The winger started off his League of Ireland career with Longford before switching to the Tribesmen midway through the 2008 season and has played with them until today when he was unveiled as the Bit O'Red's latest signing. Davoren will join Alan Keane and Michael McGrath as people who have transferred from Galway to Sligo in recent times.
It also believed that former Bray defender Derek Foran is close to putting pen to paper to join Davoren in the Sligo defence while Chris Turner, whose future is the subject of intense speculation, attended pre-season training this morning as usual and seemed 'happy' according to club sources.
