A second half penalty kick from Kellie Brennan secured a point for Athlone Town at the UCD Bowl on Saturday afternoon to move the side a point off the bottom of the WNL table.
Jetta Berrill's first half goal for DLR Waves was cancelled out as the Dublin side lost ground on the top three.
