Limerick FC -v- Finn Harps

Pride is all that is at stake at Jackman Park on Friday night as Limerick host Finn Harps in their last home game of the season (Kick-off 7:45pm).

Both sides have had a disappointing season with many off the field activities dominating the headlines for both clubs. A fresh start for next season will be welcomed by both sets of supporters towards the end of the season.

Finn Harps can take confidence in the fact that in the past 15 years they have been visiting Limerick, the County Donegal side have only lost twice in fourteen games.

In recent weeks, Limerick have welcomed back influential players such as club captain Pat Purcell, Wayne Colbert and David Ryan. Manager Pat Scully has no new injury worries ahead of Friday’s game against Finn Harps and he should welcome back Brian O’ Callaghan from the flu. Conor Molan (groin) and Brian Collopy (knee) remain long term injuries for Limerick.

Finn Harps Manager James Gallagher has some selection worries as Harps travel south to play their final away game of the season. Christy Conaghan and Marc Brolly return after they were suspended for the last game away to Wexford Youths. Stephen McLaughlin is also available again while Shaun McGowan, Oisin McMenamin and Seamus Sharkey are all back in training after recent injuries and with the postponement of last week's game have had an extra week to recover. Gary Whoriskey (chest infection), Ciaran Gallagher (flu) and James Doherty (thigh) are all doubts ahead of trip south, while Johnny Havlin remains sidelined.
