Regix Madika joins Cobh Ramblers for 2021 season
Cobh Ramblers have signed former Waterford FC attacker Regix Madika for the 2021 League of Ireland season.
The 20 year old joined Waterford’s academy set-up in 2017, and made his first team debut in 2019 against Hearts in the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup.
Regix had been training with the Rams in pre-season, but was unable to play in their recent pre-season friendlies due to injury.
Cobh also announced that this is their final first team signing of the off season.
The majority of the club’s recruitment for 2021 has come from the Munster Senior League Premier Division. Stuart Ashton has brought in a host of names from some of Cork’s top clubs, including David O’Leary, Darren Murphy, and James McCarthy.
The Ramblers will open up their 2021 League of Ireland First Division campaign on March 26th with a local derby against Cork City.
