Bray Wanderers have signed Shamrock Rovers midfielder Brandon Kavanagh on a season long loan.
The 20-year-old is an experienced player having been part of the Hoops’ Premier Division and First Division squads over the last three seasons.
Prior to 2020, he made 16 appearances in the Premier Division for Stephen Bradley’s first team after making his senior debut for Rovers against Bray Wanderers in April 2018.

Last year he was a crucial player with Rovers’ First Division side scoring nine goals. With 16 league appearances he made the most of any Rovers player in the second tier (equal with captain Darragh Nugent who has been named in Rovers 2021 first team squad).
He was shortlisted for the PFAI Award for the First Division and was named in the division’s team of the year.
The Republic of Ireland under age international made one substitute appearance for Stephen Bradley’s side in the top flight in 2020 and has now moved on loan to the Carlisle Grounds for the 2021 First Division season.
He previously played with Bray Wanderers at an underage level prior to moving to Bohemians until the 2018 season when he joined the Hoops.
