Former Cork City and Ireland under-21 goalkeeper Liam Bossin joins Dutch side FC Dordrecht
Former Cork City and Ireland under-21 goalkeeper Liam Bossin has joined Dutch second tier side FC Dordrecht.
Bossin joined Cork City in December 2019 after leaving Nottingham Forest a few months previous.
The Belgian born shot-stopper made nine appearances for City in the league and FAI Cup during the 2020 campaign as the Leesiders could not escape relegation to the First Division.
His final appearance for Cork came in their 2-1 defeat away to Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds.
He now joins FC Dordrecht who are languishing near the foot of the Dutch second-tier and are winless in their last five games.
They recently drew at home to FC Volendam on Friday evening – their first clean sheet in five games.
Dordrecht also had former UCD winger Simon Power on loan at the club as of 2019. Power is now plying his trade with Kings Lynn Town in English National League football.
Meanwhile, former Cork City forward James Tilley has joined Crawley Town, and ex-Waterford forward Courtney Duffus has joined Bromley from Yeovil Town.
