Cork City have announced their academy management teams for the upcoming season, following the appointment of Liam Kearney as the club’s new Head of Academy.
Former City captain Dan Murray will take on the role of manager of the club’s Under 19 side. He will be aided by Steven Beattie, who signed back for the club this week after being away in the United States for the last two years.

Under his vision, the u19s won a clean sweep of honours and played in the UEFA Youth League in 2016.
The Under 14 side, who played at Under 13 level last season, will continue to be managed by Greg Yelverton.
Commenting on the appointments, Kearney said: “I am very pleased to have everything confirmed and looking forward to working with the managers for the coming season. We have some excellent young players at the club, and I know they will be in good hands with the coaching staff we have here.”
Outgoing Head of Academy and new First Team Manager, Colin Healy, said: “I would like to thank all of the coaches, players and parents that I worked with during my time at the academy. It was a very enjoyable time, and I know that the academy is in good hands with Liam and his team going forward, and I wish them the best of luck.”
