Brian Gartland signs on for one more year with Dundalk

Dundalk have announced that veteran centre back Brian Gartland has signed a new contract to remain at Oriel Park for 2021.
The 34-year-old has enjoyed a glittering career with Dundalk since arriving from Portadown in 2013.
The stalwart has won five Airtricity League titles, three FAI Cups and three League Cups in a trophy laden career.
The Dubliner has also featured in two Europa League group stage campaigns for the Lilywhites appearing in 2016 and 2020.
Speaking to the club’s media team, Gartland was excited about playing in his ninth campaign at Oriel Park.
“I’m delighted to be back for another season, the last nine years have been a rollercoaster, a really amazing time, and a massive, happy chunk of my life. I’ve loved it so why not give it another spin!”
