Dundalk midfielder Jordan Flores will auction his FAI Cup winner’s medal to raise money for the Maria Goretti charity, which provides support to children with disabilities in the town.

Flores was a second-half substitute as the Lilywhites overcame Shamrock Rovers 4-2 after extra time at the Aviva Stadium last month.

And the Englishman has linked up with the Foods McLoughlin Memorial Cup, played annually in tribute to the late Dundalk fan, to auction off his medal for charity.

A starting bid of €250 has already been received, and interested bidders can make their interest known through the Cup’s Facebook or Instagram page.
