Sligo Legends to take on Liverpool Legends

On Saturday June 14th legends will collide in the Showgrounds as Sligo Rovers Legends take on the Liverpool Legends. The Liverpool side will be made up of some of the greatest players to ever play for the Anfield side and the names confirmed include - Ian Rush, Jan Molby, Ronnie Whelan, John Aldridge, Alan Kennedy, Phil Neil, Gary Gillespie, Rob Jones, Mike Marsh, John Wark, Paul Walsh, John Durnin and Bob Boulder.
The Sligo Rovers side will be managed by Billy Sinclair and will include members from the clubs 1983 and 1994 FAI Cup winning sides. Tickets for the game are priced 15euro for adults, 10euro for students/OAPs and 5euro for children 12 and under (must be accompanied by a paying adult). Tickets will only be available at Sligo Rovers home matches and will go on sale at the club's home fixture against Galway United this coming Saturday at 8pm in the Showgrounds.
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. There will also be a dinner dance that evening in the Clarion Hotel with members of both sides.Details to be announced later.
