In Pictures: Shamrock Rovers advance through to the next round of the Europa League in penalty shootout thriller

Shamrock Rovers progressed to the second round of Europa League Qualifying after a historic penalty shootout victory at Tallaght Stadium on Thursday night.

Joey O'Brien was the man who hit the winning penalty for the Hoops in a shootout which seemed like it may never end as even the teams respective goalkeepers managed to slot home their efforts. Macdara Ferris caught up with the hero shorly after full time, a chat which you can read about here.
