FAI Ford Cup semi-final draw unveiled
Sligo Rovers will host Waterford United, while Sporting Fingal will take on Bray Wanderers in the semi-finals of the FAI Ford Cup.
The draw was made on Monday evening with Sligo and Sporting earning home advantage for the crucial games.
Sligo, who beat cup holders Bohemians in the quarter-finals, are now seen as favourites to win the competition, although they will have to get past Waterford first with their semi-final fixed for Friday October 23rd.
In the other semi-final, Sporting's reward for beating Shamrock Rovers is a battle with Bray in a match that will be played in Morton Stadium on Sunday October 25th.
Both games will be broadcast live on RTE Two.
