Dundalk had to battle back from two goals down to salvage a point at home to Waterford, however, Vinny Perth will likely not be happy with his squad having lost further ground in the sprint that is the league title race.

Ali Coote was sent off for Waterford with 12 minutes to go and Dundalk then scored twice in the last ten minutes to save what was turning out to be a poor performance. You can read Macdara Ferris' match report from the game here.
