FAI give green light for Kildare, Offaly and Laois to resume non-contact training
Having previously announced that all football in Kildare, Laois and Offaly was to cease due to the localised restrictions introduced by Government over the weekend, the FAI have now stated that football may resume on a non-contact basis.
Having sought advice from the various Governmental bodies and agencies, the association now believes they are able to resume footballing activity in groups of no more than 15 and where there is no contact permitted.
The FAI statement concludes by saying: “The health and safety of all stakeholders remains the key focus of the FAI in this regard as we continue to adopt a cautious approach to the return of all football activities in Kildare, Offaly and Laois.”
