Robson flocks from Seagulls nest
Daryl Robson has ended his time in League of Ireland football after leaving Bray Wanderers to join Grays Athletic.
The fiery midfielder was tipped to have a bright future in the game after impressing for the Middlesbrough Youth team that won the FA Youth Cup.
He was not offered a professional contract by the Teeside club though and decided to cross the Irish Sea in search of regular first-team football when Galway United came calling.
Having signed for The Tribesmen in July 2007, he lasted just one season at Terryland Park before opting to link up with Bray Wanderers.
After making a promising start with Eddie Gormley’s, he soon slipped down the packing order and has now departed for a return to England, where he has signed for a team in the Football Conference.
