Adeyemo signs for Wexford
Wexford have completed the signing of former Watford striker Ola Adeyemo.
Adeyemo, who has been on the books with both UCD and St Patrick’s Athletic returns to Ireland following spells with Dundee United, Watford.
The 25 year old most recently lined out for Lewes of the Isthmian Premier Division in England.
"I have really enjoyed my time here so far,” the striker said, speaking to the club’s website.
“My main target is to play as many games as possible and help the team get results every week.”
Wexford boss Brian O’Sullivan is also excited about his newest signing and he expects Adeyemo to compliment his attacking options.
"He is a really big signing for the club. He comes with bags of experience and will score goals.
“He gives us a different dimension in attacking as he is a big strong player who can mix it.
“Make no doubt about it you can play into his feet and he will hold it up as well.
“As well being a good finisher himself, it will be good for the team to have a centre forward like this to play off which will really suit players like Conor English, Jack Doherty and Charlie Smith."
Adeyemo will be available to make his debut for Wexford when they travel to face Athlone at the Athlone Town Stadium this Friday (kick-off 7.45pm).
