Draw made for 2020 WNL FAI Cup

The draw for the WNL FAI Cup Preliminary and Quarter-Final rounds has been made.

Last year’s winners Wexford Youths begin their defence of the Cup away to Galway WFC in the Quarter-Finals, a repeat of last season’s semi-final with the Leinster club winning 4-2 in Ferrycarraig Park.

Another repeat of one of last year’s semi-finals is set to take place with the WNL Champions, and Cup runners up, Peamount United hosting Shelbourne.

Two of the new teams to the league will face off in the Preliminary Round when Athlone Town host Bohemians at Lissywoolen and the winner of that tie will go on to face Cork City.

Newcomers Treaty United will get their first taste of Cup action when they host DLR Waves.

The Preliminary Round match between Athlone Town and Bohemians is set to take place during the weekend ending Sunday 30th August, with the Quarter Finals slated for the weekend ending Sunday 4th October.
