Irish goalkeeper Danny Rogers joins Kilmarnock
Goalkeeper Danny Rodgers has joined Kilmarnock on a one year deal after his departure from Aberdeen.
The ex-Ireland under 21 shot-stopper departed Aberdeen after eight years at the Dons.
However, the majority of that time was spent out on loan with the likes of Greenock Morton and St Mirren.
Rogers, who is currently in pre-season training with Alex Dyer’s side is looking forward to the forthcoming campaign with Killie.
“I’m delighted to join Killie and as soon as the opportunity came up, I knew it was where I wanted to be” he said.
“It’s a big club with big ambitions and I’m delighted to be part of that.”
Killie boss Alex Dyer will be hopeful that Rodgers can help his side improve on last season’s eighth placed finish.
Dyer’s side are scheduled to kick-off their 2020/21 SPL campaign with a trip to Easter Road to face Hibernian this Saturday, August 1st.
