Bray sign former Wolves starlet Callum Thompson on loan from Bohemians and Sean McEvoy as two depart
First Division Bray Wanderers have unveiled the double signing of Callum Thompson and Sean McEvoy.
Winger Callum Thompson joins the Seagulls on loan from Bohemians, after signing permanently from Wolverhampton Wanders following a loan spell, while defender McEvoy joins from Ballinamallard.
Greystones native Thompson failed to make a first-team appearance with the Gypsies early in the season but has since signed a permanent contract with Keith Long's side.
The former St Joseph’s Boys schoolboy joined the Gypsies in January. He left Wolves this summer along with senior players Jordan Graham and Phil Ofosu-Ayeh.
18-year-old Sean McEvoy links up with the Seagulls after a spell with Ballinamallard. The former Ireland under-17 international joins Gary Cronin’s side after joining the Mallard ahead of the 2019/20 season.
However, in other news for the Seagulls – the club have also confirmed the double departure of Brandon McCann and Darragh Gibbons.
McCann leaves the Carlisle Grounds after making nine senior appearances for the club, while Gibbons leaves after making 19 appearances.
We are delighted to announce 2 new signings ahead of the return of the @SSEAirtricityLg season.
