FAI Cup First Round dates and kick off times confirmed

The FAI have confirmed further details on the FAI Cup First Round fixtures including dates and kick-off times following on from the First Round draw made at lunchtime on Monday.

The First Round fixtures in full are:

Finn Harps v St. Patrick's Athletic - Monday, 10 August (kick off 7.45pm)

Cork City v Longford Town - Tuesday, 11 August (kick off 7.45pm)

Dundalk v Waterford - Tuesday, 11 August (kick off 7.45pm)

Due to the shortened season, the FAI Cup is being played without non-league clubs, only SSE Airtricity League teams will participate in this season's competition. 

The clubs who were drawn out to receive a First Round bye were Derry City, Cabinteely, Shelbourne, Bray Wanderers, Sligo Rovers, Wexford FC, Shamrock Rovers, Athlone Town, UCD, Galway United, Cobh Ramblers, Bohemians and DroghedaUnited.

All 19 clubs went into the draw – as per the plan at the start of the season Shamrock Rovers II will not have a team in the FAI Cup. 

The Extra.ie FAI Cup quarter-finals are scheduled for the weekend ending Sunday 15 November, the semi-finals for the weekend after and the final is set for the weekend of Sunday, 29 November.
