Bray pair Andrew Moran and Leigh Kavanagh move to Brighton
Bray Wanderers have confirmed that their young stars Andrew Moran and Leigh Kavanagh will head to join Premier League Brighton in the coming weeks.
Kavanagh and Moran both signed pre-contract agreements with the English club earlier this year but remained in Ireland in the hope of getting some senior League of Ireland games under their belt before their new deals kicked in on July 1st.
However, with the Covid-19 pandemic putting somewhat of a divot in that plan both players are now expected to head across the water in the coming weeks.
Kavanagh, who is 16, made appearances for Bray during their pre-season campaign a few months back while Moran became the club’s youngest ever play when he lined out at just 15 years and 307 days old last August.
???? Everyone involved in Bray Wanderers FC would like to wish our young stars @AndrewMorannn and @leighkavanagh12 the very best of luck on their move to @OfficialBHAFC
