Ireland's Nations League dates and Kick off times confirmed
Stephen Kenny now knows the exact dates and times for his opening Nations League campaign as Republic of Ireland boss.
Uefa today confirmed that the Boys in Green will face an away trip to Bulgaria at 19.45 (Irish Time) on Thursday September 3rd. A game which will likely offer Kenny an important insight into his new squad as he delves ahead with his planning for the all-important play-off games that begin the following month.
Kenny’s first home game will follow not long after as the Aviva Stadium will play host to a 6pm kick off as Finland come to Dublin. Naturally it is not yet known if that game will have any fans present or if a reduced number of supporters may be allowed attend.
The remaining Nations League games have been fit into the triple header windows in October and November with the play-offs also taking place during an extended international break.
