Gallery: Athlone Town return to training

Athlone Town returned to training on this week and on Wednesday evening our photographer Gary Shanahan took a trip out to snap away as the squad were put through their paces.

With many teams returning to training over the next few weeks it is hoped that we will have an announcement before the week is out as the FAI and the clubs continue to meet to try to find a way to restart play following the Government’s decision to allow full training to resume from Monday 29th June.

Last week Paul Dolan was in Dublin to photograph the return of Shelbourne’s WNL team. Images can be found here. While during the lockdown we shot numerous players training in isolation all of which can be found here.
