Gallery: extratime in isolation

Ahead of the planned return of football later in the year, players from around the League of Ireland and Women's National League are training in isolation.

With long lense and camera in hand, our photography team have been out and about to capture some of those training sessions.

Don't worry they stayed to social distancing requirements and our subjects were aware they were being photographed!

David Ribeiro captured Ciara McNamara (the captain of Cork City Women's FC) in Whitechurch and he headed to Blarney to photograph Paul Hunt (Cobh Ramblers goalkeeper).

Meanwhile, Steve Alfred grabbed images of Charlie Fleming (Cork City defender).
