It is a Good Friday when a second extratime.ie Sportscast for the week drops into your podcast feed. 

Host Declan Marron is joined by extratime.ie reporters Dave Donnelly and Macdara Ferris who both virtually attended Stephen Kenny’s first press conference since his appointment to the senior manager role with the Boys in Green. 

They give us the low down on the event held via Microsoft Teams. 

We hear what Stephen Kenny had to say about the make up of his squad as he name checked a couple of players who he sees are key - John Egan and Robbie Brady (18.36) – and he gives his thoughts on why Robbie Keane won’t be involved in his coaching team (28.32). 

It will likely be a long build up before Kenny gets the chance to name his first starting Xi but we got his views on the preparation for whatever ends up being his first game (36.46).
